DC Waste & Recycling (DCW) is a locally owned family business serving your family and protecting our environment. It was formed in early 2015 to complete the acquisition of Stewart Sanitation, Inc. in Hillsboro, IL. It is a privately held and wholly owned company by the Deming family of Hillsboro, IL.

The roots of the Owners go back to their farm backgrounds in West Central Illinois. With strong beliefs and commitments to family, church, school, and work, the Deming's developed a resilient work ethic that has driven their success.

After a 25-year career working with several public national and several private regional companies, the opportunity provided itself for the Demings to own a business of their own.

Today, DCW has over 30 employees and 14,000 customers across twelve counties, with a growing presence in Central-Southern Illinois.

By focusing on excellent customer service, safety, and operational efficiencies, DCW has made great strides toward financial longevity and stable employment for its employees. DCW aims to provide value to its serviced communities and enhance the lives of its employees.
