DC Waste is a locally owned family business serving your family and protecting our environment. It was formed in early 2015 to complete the acquisition of Stewart Sanitation, Inc. out of Hillsboro. It is a privately held and wholly owned company by the Deming family of Hillsboro, IL. The roots of the Owners go back to their farm backgrounds in West Central Illinois. With strong beliefs and commitments to family, church, school, and work, the Deming's developed a strong work ethic that has driven their success. After spending a 25-year career working for the large national companies and several privately held regional companies, the opportunity provided itself to the Demings to own a business of their own. After two and a half years of diligent work, significant investment, and key employee additions, DC Waste has become a strong company that continues to grow in Central Illinois. With over 20 employees and 10,000 customers spread over 7 counties, DC has developed a strong presence in the market. By focusing on efficiencies and excellent customer service, DC has made great strides toward financial longevity and stable employment for the employees.
